Integrative Vet Care
Steele Points Integrative Vet Care provides mobile, referral- based veterinary acupuncture and integrative care for dogs and cats in Knoxville, Oak Ridge, Maryville and surrounding areas. We work alongside primary veterinarians to develop individualized treatment plans that complement conventional medicine and support each patient’s comfort, mobility, and overall well-being.
Using veterinary acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM), our goal is to provide thoughtful, evidence-informed therapies tailored to each pet’s unique needs.

What to Expect
Initial Consultation & Introductory Acupuncture Session

- 90 Minute Appointment
- $250 session fee
- $50 deposit required at booking
- An establishment visit focused on developing an individualized treatment plan
- Review of your pet’s medical history and current concerns
- Discussion of your goals, questions, and expectations of care
- An integrative assessment and comprehensive physical including an orthopedic and neurologic exam
- When appropriate, many pets will receive a gentle introductory acupuncture treatment during their first visit. Since much of the appointment is dedicated to understanding your pet’s history, performing a comprehensive evaluation, and discussing a personalized care plan, the initial acupuncture treatment is generally brief- often around 10- 15 minutes, though this may vary based on your pet’s comfort and individual needs.
Follow Up Acupuncture Session

- 45 Minute Appointment
- $150 session fee
- $50 deposit required at booking
- Focused treatment based on your pet’s individualized treatment plan
- Follow up sessions may include the following
- Acupuncture treatments (30 minutes or less depending on your pet’s tolerance and needs)
- Dry needling
- Aqua- acupuncture
- Electro- acupuncture
- Other techniques as approprate
- Acupuncture treatments (30 minutes or less depending on your pet’s tolerance and needs)
- Pain management
- Mobility support
- Progress evaluations (About 15 minutes)
- Adjustments to your pet’s treatment plan
- Collaboration and communication with your primary veterinarian
Maintenance Acupuncture Session

- 30 Minute Appointment
- $80 session fee
- $50 deposit required at booking
- Available for established Steele Points patients who are already at their primary veterinary clinic for another appointment.
- Brief evaluation (5 minutes)
- Acupuncture treatment (30 minutes or less) based on your pet’s ongoing treatment plan
- Consultation not included
- Designed for maintenance or continued care
- Offered when scheduling and your primary veterinary clinic’s workflow allow
Deposit Policy
A non-refundable $50 deposit is required to reserve all online appointments. The deposit is applied toward your visit balance if all required forms are completed prior to your scheduled appointment, allowing adequate time for medical record review and preparation. With at least 24 hours’ notice for unavoidable circumstances, the deposit may be transferred once toward a future appointment.
